Hey…. It’s you….. Great! Welcome to OneforallAlaska.org - a website with a purpose: OneforallAlaska's goal is simply to make life better for Alaskans! This is a place where you can get involved, pitch in, get help for your favorite program or non-profit, compete in video contests with great prizes and most of all, get heard. There’s lots of cool stuff here, so feel free to poke around -- and if you need any help I’ll be back here [girl starts to go back into the One]. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. I’ll let you in on our deep, dark secret…. This site was created by Credit Union 1, but trust me, it’s a whole lot more than some “crazy advertising gimmick." Credit Union 1 is different because we're a non-profit organization owned by people like you. Since we're part of your community, we work hard to improve all of our lives and make your finances easy. One for All is the way we try to live our lives, so we figured we’d invite everyone to be a part. So… come on… “join the One!”

The One for All Project – Spot the one!

[Two girls carry out the giant “One” and set it on the ground as they start speaking.]

OK -- so pretty much all of us have a program, non profit, or absolutely awesome idea that can make life better for Alaskans. The problem is, it’s pretty hard to have any impact if you’re only one person. That’s where the One for All program comes in. We’ve prepared a short scene in one act to explain how it works:

[they pause and go to their scene start positions… really bad acting and reading of the lines... awkward pauses, hesitations and mistakes]

“Hey Dude… what is up my homey…”

“Not much.”

“Great… I am happy to hear that. Say friend, I have this program, non-profit or absolutely awesome idea that can make life better for Alaskans.

"The problem is I am only one person…how can I make an impact on my community?”

“Funny you should ask that… the One for All project is perfect for your needs.”

“One for All project?.... what is that? Please tell me more.”

“Great! I am glad you asked. With One for All, you tell us about your program, nonprofit or absolutely awesome idea that can make life better for Alaskans. Just let everyone know what you need to benefit your community. Visitors to this website can then vote on which project we should help with next, and the winner gets the “Special Treatment”. The One for All team willl show up, pitch in, and help out with painting, cleaning, building -- whatever work is needed!

“Amazing! That is great! But, how will I know what program, non-profit or great Idea you’re working on this month?”

“Oh silly, that is easy…. once the votes are in and we choose the winning project, we're gonna talk like mad on this site - so you'll know exactly what's going on and how you can help out."

“Wow! That sounds swell. So all I have to do to make a major impact on my community is tell about my program, non-profit or absolutely awesome idea that can make life better for Alaskans, and then get all of my friends to go to the website to vote for it? That is easy … And fun!”

“Yes it is… It is 'One for All"

[they both laugh awkwardly and then say, “And..... Scene!”… grab the One and disappear]

Blog information:

Girl looks at the camera and says, “Uh… It’s a blog. You know how to do this… Find out what's going on, read about upcoming events, keep in touch, and use the comments to let us know what’s going on in your community. You know… a blog. It’s not hard.”

Video contests:

Girl walks out, looks back into the One and then begins talking.

“Do you feel like you could be the next Spielberg? Each contest on One for All--"

"Cut!" yells other girl. She walks out onto stage with a home made bullhorn with poorly lettered, "Director" written on it.

Corin turns to the camera, and says, "Ok.... It's supposed to go like this, 'Do you feel like you could be the next Spielberg? OneforallAlaska.org is hosting a video contest about different topics that illustrate what One for All means to you. This is your chance to get creative and show us what you can do. The winner of the contest will be hired by Hollywood for millions of….” [1st girl comes up to 2nd girl and whispers in her ear for a moment. 2nd girl looks shocked and then nods.]

"Oh, OK. Each winner wins an awesome High Definition Video Camera! Cool!"

"Action!"
